2010 Ontario Men’s Curling Championship

January 20, 2010 · Comments Are Closed

Although the Curling Championship actually takes place in Napanee Ontario, I felt that it would be a good idea to let the people of Kingston know about it. It is a pretty big event and I am sure that a lot of people would be willing to make the short drive to see some top notch curling! The Championship takes place between February 1 – 7, 2010 and will be held at the Strathacona Paper Centre in Napanee. If you are interested in buying tickets for the event, you can call: 613-354-4423 or visit their website: 2010Tankard.com for more details.  Read More →

Rotarians Raise Money For Haiti Earthquake Victims

January 19, 2010 · Comments Are Closed

Canadians have really stepped up in the past week and have donated a lot of money to the Red Cross to help the people of Haiti through this tragedy. A Shelter Box is a large plastic container the size of a clothing trunk. Each box contains a sturdy tent... [Read the full story]
